Phantom 1 Gimbal Quick Release

Introducing the Ramster Engineering Phantom 1 Gimbal Quick Release Mount. Ramster Engineering decided to address a common problem when using either the Tarot or popular GoodLuckBuy/Ebay/Arris CM1000 brushless stabilization gimbals. While the Phantom is an excellent aerial video platform, sometimes you just want to drop the gimbal and fly around for fun! The Ramster Engineering Quick Release Mount allows quick removal of the gimbal, thus allowing longer flight times along with increased flight performance.

Our lightweight composite baseplate conveniently remains mounted on the underside of the Phantom. For the Tarot Gimbal, no adaptor plate is required to mount this to your Phantom!  The upper aluminum plate of the GLB gimbal is replaced by our composite mount. 

Operation is as simple as mating the plates along the center hole, turning the mount into position, and tightening two thumb screws to secure the mount.  While the mount is fully secure when using the thumbscrews, the mounts do have slots for zip ties for those times you want extra peace of mind. 





(Please note- we have designed the plate to work the Tarot TL68A00 gimbal that utilizes carbon fiber plates.  More designs are in the works!)
